It is with profound humility, deep gratitude, and unwavering commitment that I, Mark Qualls, formally announce my candidacy for Hickman County Mayor in the 2026 election.

As a third-generation resident of our beloved county, Hickman has always held my heart. Raised here, building a family here with my wife Tammie and our children, and serving our community through business and volunteer efforts—my roots run deep in this soil. I have dedicated myself to making Hickman County a better place for all of us.

I believe in smart, responsible growth that preserves our cherished small-town charm while attracting new opportunities. We deserve improved infrastructure, better jobs that keep our families close to home, enhanced public services like roads and sewers, and fiscal responsibility that puts taxpayers first. Hickman County should thrive as a welcoming destination for families, businesses, and visitors—balancing progress with the natural beauty and values that make us unique.
